The language of the body - a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach to teaching Yoga

Anything you do with attention to how you feel and with presence is doing yoga.

From disconnection to presence. Yoga happens beyond the mat. A therapeutic and playful immersion in Hatha and Yin Yoga with focus on gentle poses and breathing exercises. 

No matter the age and the previous yoga experience, you need a safe space to experience your Self and find true connection in yourself and with others. Also, you might benefit from a different approach to Yoga, one that is more focused on your own personal journey, listening more to your body and becoming aware of possible patterns. Finally, working actively with the breath becomes an incredible tool to explore in order to cultivate presence, compassion and regulate our nervous system.

I am Teodora, certified and trauma-informed teacher in Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. My experience with Yoga started 12 years ago when I discovered the physical benefits of Hatha Yoga, which made me want to go deeper into exploring also from an energetic and spiritual viewpoint. Later on, I developed my own teaching practice with students and young professionals in both Sweden and Portugal and the journey has been developing since then.

I would love to share with you the beauty of Yoga, as I view it from my own perspective, through my posts as well as my classes both online or in-person. Through mindful practices, with a careful approach to breath awareness and safe alignment, my aim is to offer a safe space in which you can perhaps return back home to your true Self with curiosity and compassion.
